Compiling

Today we compiled the footage we have been working on (leah has been making up the panel animations), to create the final clip. The most tedious part had to be adding in the advert screens I had made and getting the part with the panels in front of the character to work. It all worked out now and now all we need is the avatar on the panels and the rest of the motion tracking!

Coffee Shop

Today we filmed in the coffee shop, meaning that all filming was complete!

Further editing has also taken place, as well as adding in the coffee shop clips into the appropriate place I have startd some of the motion tracking.

Editing1

The clip has been put together using Final Cut Pro, we played with the various shots in the green screen to create the desired effect, here it is:

Overgate Filming

Filming in the Overgate is complete! Despite obstacles such as being unable to film during the Easter holidays and having to make sure that we didn't film any shop fronts.

We took some images within a shop in Dundee to mock up the shop backgrounds, I edited them and split the layers up to use in the video.

I have made a secondary advert using the same themes, but this time adding in the curves (page furniture) to implement them into the design further.

I have added the same circles theme and added squares so that it looks as if the items are hanging from the curves.



I have made three of these, this is without the tritone in place.

To link the adverts in with the project even further I have applied the same effects tot he panel ads as I did the storyboard.

The digitalised square effect is the one I used for the storyboard, combined with the colour scheme it all ties togther nicely.

While the panels are not in use adverts for Topshop.com will play on them, in the video before the main character approaches the panels these will be playing.
I have planned out a few different ideas in my sketchbook and started to make them.

Colour Guidance 2

For the advert we are going to use a tri-tone effect so that the whole thing matches up with the visual style guide and everything ties together.

Here is a quick panels mock up (same as app) using the shots I used for the silhouettes for the storyboard

Line and Curve

As a small side project I ahve done some experimentation with the lines and curves as a basis so that they could theroetically be used for loading screens.. This isn't actually going to happen but it was an interesting piece of concept work within using applications such as Flash to see what I cpuld do with the original illustrator files.

Filming

All of the green screen footage is now complete!
We followed a basic plan to ensure that all aspects were covered, outlined within my sketchbook.
